Joseph Cudjoe, Minister for Public Enterprises has counseled Management of Graphic Communications Group Ltd. to switch the medium to meet the modern trends.
According to the Minister, the news environment has changed, and Graphic can only be relevant if it switches to the palm space.
He explained that the introduction of mobile phones has made it easy for people to access news around the globe on it.
The Hon. Minister made these statements when he paid a working visit to the company’s Head Office in Accra on Monday 8th May, 2023.
The Hon. Minister further explained that the demand for newspapers had gone down drastically and increasing volumes on sale or even increasing prices would still not solve this issue.
Hon. Cudjoe however suggested interventions through digitalization of their products by engaging an App developer.
