CHRISTMAS MESSAGE FROM THE MINISTER FOR PUBLIC ENTERPRISES TO ALL SPECIFIED ENTITIES

Best wishes to the Boards, Management and Staff of all Specified Entities (Public Enterprises) as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I will admit that the year 2022 was a challenging one, but we managed to sail through while making great strides.

2023 may be tougher but we must bring about innovations and observe good corporate governance practices to achieve greater strides than we did in 2022.

I am convinced that we will work tirelessly together in adhering to the Performance Contract signed between you (Specified Entities) and the State Interest and Governance Authority (SIGA) and other policy directions in the coming year (2023) to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability of our entities. This will enable us create room for expansion and jobs for the youth.

To the citizens of Ghana, you are the rightful owners of the Specified Entities, and I urge you all to continue to keep us in check to deliver the expected outcomes for the development of the country.

I wish you all the very best as we celebrate Christmas.

HON JOSEPH CUDJOE

MINISTER FOR PUBLIC ENTERPRISES
